Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget
It is a non-profit organization that educates the public about issues that have significant fiscal policy impact. It runs many projects, including US Budget Watch, the Peterson-Pew Commission on Budget Reform, Stimulus.org and the Fiscal Roadmap project.
Center for American Progress
The Center for American Progress works to improve the lives of Americans through progressive ideas and actions, and addresses areas such as energy, national security, economic growth and opportunity, immigration, education and health care.
Center on Budget and Policy Priorities
The Center shapes public debates over budget and tax policies, through research and analysis, to ensure that the needs of low-income families and individuals are considered. Policy options to alleviate poverty are also developed.
Committee for Economic Development
CED is a public policy organization dedicated to research on major economic and social issues, and the implementations of its findings by public and private sectors. CED is a non-profit and non-partisan organization, which promotes sustained economic growth and development to benefit all Americans.
The Concord Coalition
A non-partisan, grassroots organization that educates the public about the causes and consequences of federal budget deficits, the long-term challenges facing America's unsustainable entitlement programs and how to build a solid foundation for economic growth.
Congressional Research Service
It is a legislative branch agency within the Library of Congress, and works exclusively for the US Congress, providing policy and legal analysis to committees and Members of both the House and Senate.
Economic Policy Institute
It is a think thank focused on the economic condition of low and middle-income Americans, and aims to broaden the discussion about economic policy to include their interests. EPI believes in fighting for working families, broadly shared prosperity, accuracy and progressivism.

GAO is an independent, non-partisan agency that works for Congress and investigates how the federal government spends taxpayer dollars. It works to improve the performance and ensure the accountability of the federal government for the benefit of the American people.
The Heritage Foundation
It is a research and educational institution that formulates and promotes public policies based on the ideas of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values and a strong national defense.
International Monetary Fund
The IMF has membership of 187 countries, and helps member governments take advantage of opportunities and manage challenges of globalization and economic development. The IMF tracks global economic trends and performance, alerts its member countries when it sees problems ahead, provides a forum for policy dialogue and gives advice on how to tackle economic difficulties.
National Center for Policy Analysis
The NCPA is a non-profit, non-partisan public policy research organization that develops and promotes private, free-market alternatives to government regulation and control. It tackles problems in health care, taxes, retirement, small business and the environment.
The National Debt Clock
The US Debt Clock is a continuously updated site, which informs teh public of the financial condition of the US. Categories on the clock include the US National Debt, US Public Debt Subject to Limit, US Federal Spending and GDP.

It is the new face of the Progressive Policy Institute, and provides a progressive point of view and new ideas to solve big public problems. Its mission is to modernize progressive politics and create an effective government, where democracy works again.
State Policy Network
It is a service organization for America's free market, state-focused community, which hopes to build a fifty-state network fo free-market think tanks that are the most effective and successful policy research and education institutions in their respective states.

It attempts to compel the government to produce financial reports that are understandable, reliable, transparent and correct.
The World Bank
It provides financial and technical assistance to developing countries around the world, to fight poverty with lasting results. It aims to help people help themselves by provding resoures, sharing knowledge and building capacity and forging partnerships in the public and private sectors. It is made up of two institutions, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association.
